The Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy at the University of Dundee is the internationally renowned graduate school in the field of international business transactions, natural resources, and energy law and policy. The Centre operates as a multi-disciplinary unit, and follows an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, research and consultancy to provide a unique perspective on how governments, business and communities operate, and to equip the professionals of today with the ability to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
The Centre is an academic institute of repute in the field of energy and minerals policies, economics and law. The Centre is at the forefront of research. It was awarded the highest rank available by the UK Quality Assurance Agency for the taught postgraduate programme. The Centre has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2004 in recognition of its delivery of high quality professional training and education worldwide.
