Project Role
The School of Environment and Development was created in 2004 and is an internationally recognized interdisciplinary centre of excellence. The School occupies a special niche in the study of society-economy and the environment interactions. The School hosts a number of elite, externally funded research centres, including the following:
- the Centre for Regulation and Competition (CRC)
- the Chronic Poverty Research Centre (CPRC),
- Global Poverty Research Group (GPRG),
- Impact Assessment Research Centre (IARC) and
- Environmental Impact Assessment Centre.
