TERI University
The TERI University has been set up in 1998 as an institution of higher learning to meet the needs for a rapidly developing India. The University reaches out in sourcing knowledge from across the globe. Its major strength lies in the reservoir of knowledge, experience and research experience of the parent body TERI. The University was granted "Deemed-to-be University" status by the University Grants Commission.
TERI University has entered into Memoranda of Understanding with a number of universities around the world. At present, the University is organized in two faculties – Faculty of Applied Sciences and Faculty of Policy & Planning. The University offers post-graduate taught programmes and research degrees, including Ph.D.
The TERI University will complement the efforts of TERI and will be involved in training, capacity building and skill transfer.
